PEI Board Feed Updates in NexOne Legend
This document explains what information is created and updated in NexOne Legend when listings are imported from the PEI Board feed.
Listing Creation (From Board Feed)
When a new listing is received from the PEI Board feed, NexOne Legend automatically creates the listing with the following logic:
Notifications
- An email is sent to the brokerage for each new import batch.
- If multiple listings are created at once, only one email is sent containing links to all newly created listings.
- These emails are not saved in Follow-Ups.
Important Behavior
- If a user trashes a listing or manually changes the status to Sold, Cancelled, or Expired, but the board still shows the listing as Active, the import will recreate the listing.
- This is why it is critical to always update the listing at the board first—NexOne Legend only follows the board data.

Listing Updates (From Board Feed)
When the board sends updates to an existing listing, NexOne Legend updates the following fields:
Fields That Update Automatically
- Address
- Listing date
- Price
- Legal description
- Zoning
- Sale or Lease
- Status
Notifications
- Notifications are sent when the listing status changes.
Expiry Date Logic
- On updates, NexOne Legend keeps the expiry date that already exists in the listing.
- Because the board feed always sends expiry date as NULL, NexOne Legend cannot rely on the board to expire listings automatically.
Important Limitation: Expiry Dates
Expiry date requires manual management in NexOne Legend.
- The board feed sends Expiry Date as NULL, and
- NexOne Legend relies on Expiry Date to expire listings,
Those listings never changed to Expired in NexOne Legend.
What This Means
- Expiry date should be entered and maintained manually in NexOne Legend.
- If expiry dates are not managed, listings may remain Active even after expiring at the board.
