# Copy Documents Feature
The new **Copy** function streamlines document handling, allowing you to transfer documents between folders without the hassle of re-uploading. Whether you're dealing with a multi-unit property where the same documents are needed for each unit or duplicate listings were created, this feature was built to make document transfers quick and efficient
### How It Works
#### 1. Accessing the Copy Feature
This option is located in the **Documents** section of each file (listing, client, or transaction). When you click on **Copy Document**, a window will open.
Agents, Team Assistants, and administrators have the option to **copy** documents. This ensures files remain accessible in their original location.
#### 2. Selecting Document Destination
- The **source folder** will display the name of the file
- The **Action** section will be set to **Copy**
When using the feature, you can select where documents should go, based on the following criteria:
- **Target Folder Type**: Choose between **Listing**, **Client**, or **Transaction** folders.
- **Target Folder**: Search for destination folders using various identifiers such as MLS number, contract number, property address, client names, or folder creation date.
- **Document Selection**: Select which document(s) you want to copy. You can also **select or unselect all** documents if necessary.
- Select **Excute** to complete copy documents function.
